Worldwide of making of motion pictures, especially at the indie film level, there are no guarantees that every striving filmmaker that sets out to go from screenplay to distributed film will make it to the end. Making movies is risky artistically and economically. In some cases a film falls apart throughout pre-production, shooting or in post-production for lots of various reasons.
Film financiers are not flexible and will cut you off from future movie funds. They can cross out the loss, but your reputation will take a hit and you'll lose on them investing in your motion pictures in the future. Discovering cash to make motion pictures is more difficult than making the movie. Without movie financing you just have a screenplay and a movie making dream keeping you company.
Use your sharp utility knife along with your straight edge positioned next to the edge of the window to cut the movie. Leave a 1/16" border in between the edge of the film and the window.
Storage. Concerning storage, movie is more difficult to store. You need to think how you will preserve the negatives without reducing its quality. It will be harder to duplicate the printed photos for duplicates when you lose your negatives, otherwise you will require a conservator for it. Whereas the digital cam's output is immediately saved in SD cards. Then you can back it up in your computer system, cd, or other hard drives without film preservation altering its homes and quality. In the long run, film can fade, while digital will never change.
Among the biggest downers in this crazy company (and do not kid yourself, it is an organization), is that it can make normally nice people become absolutely greedy, insufferably egotistical, and definitely insane monsters. This is no joke.
Movie financiers will ride your ass unlike family or friends when it pertains to when the motion picture will be done, sold and their cash paid. Do not get shaken or take it personally. The service world is not warm and fuzzy full of hugs and kisses.
